Questions clients ask about our mobile personal training
If you’ve got a question about personal training, odds are someone else did too – here’s our top FAQs
Besides the fact that all our trainers hold health and fitness qualifications, we guarantee to be on time, ready to start working out with you – no sleep-in or ‘I’m too busy’ excuses. Your exercise program will be personalised and reviewed to make sure you achieve your fitness goals.
To be an Alive Personal Trainer, it’s a must that you must be qualified – health is not something you can fake. All our trainers have achieved a Certificate IV in Personal Training (through face to face training at recognised training institutions) and have insurance. Most of our trainers are currently completing or have completed an Exercise Science University degree.
Unlike gym memberships, we make sure you stay motivated and want to turn up to each session – no more signing contracts that make you feel guilty – you’ll want to keep training because you love how you feel. With different pricing available depending on how you’d like to train, we’ll tailor a quote just for you.
With life being so busy, too many people don’t have time, or motivation, to get to a gym to join a class. Others simply hate the idea of training in public. As mobile personal trainers, we come to you – wherever you want to be – at home, at a park, or at your gym – the options are endless.
All you need to do is show up in your comfy exercise gear, with a towel and a full water bottle (or 2). We provide all the exercise equipment you’ll use during your fitness session.
We’d be delighted to train you in your own home gym as it makes us sad to see gym equipment gathering dust. Before we start, we’ll check over your equipment to ensure it’s safe and functioning properly as we don’t want any of those crazy home gym accidents we’re sure you’ve seen on YouTube!
Of course. After working out your program, your trainer will let you know what equipment you’ll be using to achieve your goals. If you feel like buying your own equipment, tell your trainer. They’ll be able to organise a discount, buy it on your behalf, and bring your new equipment to your next session.
No, that’s why we’re mobile. This is designed to save you time and petrol.
Yes of course. The role of your trainer is to empower you to train without them between sessions by following your personal program. They’ll also be able to help you with nutrition goals.
Exercise alone won’t change your body, so your trainer can give you beneficial nutritional recommendations following the Australian dietary guidelines. We can also refer you to a Dietician if you’d like a more detailed diet plan.
